Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior MySQL Database Administrator located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

This role will be in charge of MySQL Database Administration, MySQL DB Migration from other RDBMS to MySQL DB on prem/Cloud platform, Database Performance/SQL Tuning, Backup & Restore, Disaster configuration, High Availability setup, User, Storage Maintenance and automation, AD/LDAP configuration.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of MySQL Solutions.
• Migration of database/data from RDBMS to MySQL On-prem & Cloud infrastructure.
• database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• MySQL deployment & administration on Cloud platforms
• Project management and customer interaction
• Monitoring the cluster connectivity & perform backup & recovery task, resource and security management
• Collaborating with application teams to install and update patches, version upgrades when required.
• Handling designers, developers and business request.

Here is the experience that we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• MySQL database administrator
• Deployment and maintain database on cloud /google cloud / AWS - on-Prem
• English fluent
• Linux, Unix - Linux admin basic skill
• PostgreSQL
• Strong Working knowledge - MySQL Enterprise Monitor, MySQL Enterprise Backup
